About "My Story"

Real students just like you. That's what the new "My Story" public service television, radio, cinema and transit campaign is all about.

Charlie, Jennifer, Jared, Ben and Shirly (en Español) didn't know how to get the money they needed for college. Then they found out about Federal Student Aid.

In the new public service campaign airing now on TV, radio and the Web, these real kids tell you in their own words how federal student aid made college — and achieving their dreams for the future — possible.

Media Info

In January 2008, Federal Student Aid introduced a new national public service campaign called "My Story," in which real students tell how they got the money they needed for college.

“My Story” is a public service television, radio, cinema and transit campaign designed to help people learn more about the resources available through Federal Student Aid.

In conjunction with the “My Story” campaign, Federal Student Aid has a number of resources designed to help media professionals.  There is a fact sheet available, as well as a means to request broadcast-quality tapes or DVDs of the “My Story” spots.
